HISTORY
A Committee interested in preserving native plants held three meetings in January 1991, and invited the public to come join us on February 21, 1991. The meeting was a susses and 38 members signed up. We have maintained an average of 30 members who are dedicated to saving endangered plants, to educating the public, and to the enjoyment of wildflowers.
The Cullman Native Plant Society was organized, with the intention to preserve all the native plants that we could, and have them available for the public ti enjoy. Birmingham landscape architect Jane Reed Ross, donated a working plan for the trails and a drawing for the garden entrance.
